The impressive mirror with gilded wooden frame was presented to the town on 6th June 1860 by Mr. Frederick Augustus Carrington F.A.S., Recorder of Wokingham, for the opening of the Town Hall. It was supplied by Mr. Edward Foulkes, Russell St., Covent Garden.
