Barbara and David Knee received a Civic Award in 2016 for their commitment to the Bradbury Community Centre. Their Nomination follows:-
The wide range of people who access the Bradbury Centre benefit from their efforts. This includes children and young people, vulnerable people including people with learning disabilities and mental health problems, elderly people, mother and baby groups, organisations who rent rooms from them (this includes local authority staff, charities and community groups and their members), people who are given volunteering opportunities at the Centre etc.
