Martin Wilson received a Civic Award in 2011 for his involvement in the 1st Emmbrook Scout Group which he joined in 1979 and became Leader in 1988. He arranged for repair work to the group’s Scout Hut and renegotiated a lease with the water company that owns the land where the hut is located.
