Sue South received a Civic Award in 2009 in recognition of her volunteer work for the Wokingham Volunteer Centre for whom she had been the Manager prior to her retirement in 2004. At this time she assisted in the office, did the book keeping and the payroll. She was also Secretary of the Wokingham Borough Voluntary Sector Forum, a Trustee for Voluntary Action Wokingham Borough and on the Committee of Wokingham Area Access Group and the Winter Carnival Committee.
