Margaret Dunham was given a Civic Award for her involvement in Wokingham’s Town Centre Management Initiative and Winter Carnival.

Margaret Dunham, who runs Busy Hands in Denmark Street, Wokingham is not only involved in Wokingham’s Town Centre Management Initiative but the Winter Carnival and chamber of commerce as well. She is well respected by the town’s traders and takes an active role within Wokingham’s Independent Traders Society. She was one of the main instigators behind the phenomenally successful Winter Carnival which helps raise thousands of pounds for charities.
