1 Ten staff of Wokingham railway station at the end of the 19th century.
2 Wokingham Station about 1910. The railway came to Wokingham in 1849 when the Reading to Guildford line was opened. The direct route to London opened later when the Reading to Staines line was built.
3 The marshalling yard at Wokingham station in the 1920s, under snow. The Station Industrial Park now occupies much of the yard.
4 The level crossing, dating about 1920. The gate was manually operated from the ground before the signal box was built.
