For over 40 years, Mr. Albert Goswell had a tailor’s shop at No. 13 Market Place. He specialized in hunt and livery clothing. He also served for nearly 40 years in the Wokingham Fire Brigade, rising to the rank of lieutenant.
The building is now (2018) Helen & Douglas House charity shop.
