This is of a bulged cut and moulded glass body with matching stopper. Attached is a silver label plate, inscribed “Sherry”, on a single link chain. On reversed side is engraved:
“Presented by Councilor Mrs Margaret Busst 1987”.
The decanter was presented to the Town Council by Councilor Mrs M Busst, who was Mayor 1976 to compliment the sherry glasses and server already in the Mayor’s Parlour.
