Parlour Clock

About Parlour Clock

A Westminster chiming clock with hour and quarter hour chimes. It has a gold face mounted in a polished wood case. It has an applied brass plate with inscription.

The inscription reads,
“Presented to Wokingham Town Council in memory of Dr Reginald Child, Mayor 1971 – 72”

It was presented to the Council by Mrs Child in 1990 during the Mayoral Term of Councillor Frederick W Clark.
