A silver plated rose bowl, round, everted waved rim, bulged body with a band of chased men in oriental style (Indian) in the Lotus position with leaf and scroll surround on matted ground, spread foot with acanthus border, engraved on one side “Wokingham District Motor Club” and on opposite face is inscribed,
“Crawley Rose Bowl won by F S Morland 1929”.
It is gilt inside, on an ebonised plinth.

It is understood that the “Wokingham District Motor Club” existed some years ago and was formed by motorists of the Wokingham Area. The Rose Bowl was competed for annually. When the Club ceased to exist the last winner of the Crawley Rose Bowl gave it to a Mrs Mollie Fletcher who apparently had always greatly admired it. When Mrs Fletcher died the family presented it to Wokingham Town Council for it to be displayed with the Town silver.
